Shoeuzi.com is a Scam - Stay Away

Welp, I just found out the hard way that Shoeuzi.com is now a scam. Hoping this prevents people from making the same mistake I did.

Shoeuzi.com is a Scam - Stay Away

On Monday, December 23rd, I placed an order for a Shoeuzi art figure I’ve wanted for a long time: "Outside In" by J-Ldn (Jack London) and Ermsy. Like many collectors, I noticed a new drop on the Shoeuzi.com website and jumped at the chance to snag this piece. A few friends made purchases too, which made it feel even more legit.

Fast forward to now – a couple of weeks have passed, and there’s been zero updates about shipping. At first, I chalked it up to delays from the holiday season. No big deal, right?

But then, a friend sent me a Reddit post that completely changed the vibe:

Wait, what? Is this real? Neither of us had ever heard anything bad about Shoeuzi before. We even know multiple collectors with Shoeuzi figures in their collections. This had to be a one-off bad experience, right?

Wrong.

I started asking around and quickly uncovered this:

That’s when I decided to send Shoeuzi an email, hoping to get some clarity. And guess what?

To make things even sketchier, I checked Instagram and noticed that @shoeuzi, which is J-Ldn’s official account, hasn’t posted since August 19, 2023. For an artist known for their work and collaborations, this radio silence is definitely a red flag.

Now, I just feel stupid. And I want to make sure no one else falls for this scam. I’ve already opened a dispute and urge you to do the same if you’ve recently made a purchase.

Some pieces are just not meant to be in the collection, and that’s okay, lol. Stay vigilant out there, y’all—scams are everywhere.

I guess I'm starting a blog

As a collector with no self-control, I figured I needed an outlet other than constantly buying more art. YouTube’s way too much work, so here we are—a blog to (hopefully) scratch my itch and save me some cash.
